Whether traveling between meetings in an uberX, or heading from the airport in an UberBLACK, it’s no secret that employees rely on Uber for business travel.

That’s why in 2014, we launched Uber for Business, a ride management platform that makes it easy to scale Uber across a company. While our product was initially geared towards small businesses, teams, and corporate late night ride solutions, this was only the first step.

To make Uber for Business a complete business travel solution and an option for companies of all sizes, we’re taking it to the next level and making it enterprise ready. That way, companies can provide a uniform ground transportation experience globally and gain visibility into ground transportation spend regardless of the number of employees – and cities they are traveling in – around the world.

We’re excited to share that we’re launching three new features geared to enterprises: Employee Pay, Trip Flagging, and Manager Approval. These features, along with Account Automation and Expense Codes, help make Uber for Business a truly enterprise ready platform.

Employee Pay is available today, and Trip Flagging and Manager Approval will roll out in the next couple months.

We’re excited to help enterprises get the most out of Uber for Business and offer a whole new level of account customization and automation. We’ll continue to work with our customers to better understand their needs, and build out new features and product integrations that make Uber for Business work more seamlessly with their existing travel management systems.
